«Nippon Cosmetic» Leases Over 2'000 sq. m. in Warehouse Complex in Salova Street with ASTERA Assistance

‘Nippon Cosmetic’ Ltd. has leased 2’150 sq. m. space in the warehouse project in Salova street. ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, has served as a transaction broker.
‘Nippon Cosmetic’ Ltd. Is integrated into group of companies ‘Nord-Cosmetic’ – a leading supplier of Japanese cosmetics, household chemistry and personal hygiene products to the Russian market. Company structure includes distribution branch, which effects wholesale supplies all around Russia, and retail stores chain of Japanese cosmetics called ‘Megumi’.
The leased space with the total area of 2’150 sq. m will serve as the company warehouse. One more warehouse of the company is located in Moscow. The necessity to lease a new warehouse space was caused by the company development and increase in its sales turnover.

“To arrange a warehouse of our own, we needed space in an up-to-date warehouse complex with established logistics and service lines system,” – says Evgenij Komanitsin, the Head of Sales Department at ‘Nippon Cosmetics’ Ltd., – “As to other important requirements to the space – we considered the ceilings height and floors quality, as well as availability of area allowing for loading low-capacity motor vehicles. The leased warehouse does not only meet these criteria, but is also conveniently located: it has perfect drive ways to the Ring Road, thus making almost any city district easily accessible by transport”.
“Retail development in Saint Petersburg visibly affects the structure of demand for quality warehouse space,” – says Vera Bojkova, the Head of Warehouse Market Department at ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, – “Retail chains are considered the most active tenants, looking to lease space from 1’000 to 3’000 sq. m., which at the present moment is of the highest demand”. << Return to the list
