Caf?-Bakery «Bushe» Opens in Vasilievsky Island with ASTERA Assistance

A new project of the chain of café-bakeries ‘Bushe’ will be opened in October in Sredny prospect of Vasilievsky island. Services on premises selection were rendered by ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate.

Bushe Ltd. has rented a premise with the area of 320 sq.m. opposite to Vasileostrovskaya underground station. New café shall have about 60 seats and will be one of the largest cafes of the chain.
‘Bushe’ company has been on the market since 1999, and at the present moment the chain consists of seven café-bakeries in Saint-Petersburg, including the new one on Vasilievsky island. Average area of the cafes is 80-150 sq.m.

Apart from static cafes the chain includes 15 trading cars, which are parked near the underground stations. 43% of the total turnover of the company is made by the fixed bakeries, 38% – by trading cars and other 19% are made by wholesale selling to retail chains and HoReCa enterprises. The chain also owns the bakery production located in Primorsky district. Its production capacity at the present moment is 9 tons of products daily.

In August 2011 the company opened a new café in Shkolnaya street, in the nearest future another café will be opened after reconstruction in Vosstaniya street. By the end of 2011 café-bakery ‘Bushe’ will be commissioned in one of the shopping centres of Saint-Petersburg. Wide expansion is planned for 2012. “We do not plan to enter the market of the capital, we are more interested in Helsinki, besides, Saint-Petersburg still offers a wide field for activities”, – explains Irina Zhuk, the Marketing Director of the café-bakeries ‘Bushe’.
