New Shopping and Leisure Complex «Fiesta» Opens in Chelyabinsk

On the 12, November this year a new shopping and leisure complex ‘Fiesta’ with the total area of 46’000 sq.m. was opened. The complex is located in the building of former sewing factory. ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate has rendered advisory services for concept development and functional zoning of the shopping and leisure complex ‘Fiesta’. The developer of the project was TC ‘Strela’.

Shopping and leisure complex ‘Fiesta’ is located in Molodogvardejtsev street in the North-Western district of Chelyabinsk. The leasable area makes 34’100 sq.m. The anchor tenants are hypermarket ‘Molniya’, the first in Chelyabinsk German hypermarket of household goods and electronics ‘Saturn’, as well as ‘Posuda Tsentr’, toys hypermarket ‘Begemot’, sports supermarket ‘Champion’. Apart from these stores the two floors of the shopping complex will house over 130 shops of federal and international brands.

Shopping and leisure complex ‘Fiesta’ will be commissioned in the 4th quarter of 2011. The shopping complex will also comprise other discount stores of the following brands: Adidas, Reebok, Zolla. Total area of the complex will be 46’000 sq.m., anchor tenants will include hypermarket ‘Molniya’, , ‘Posuda Tsentr’, toys hypermarket ‘Begemot’, sports supermarket ‘Champion’. The shopping complex will comprise several discount stores of brands like O’Stin, Zolla, Adidas, Reebok.
Architectural project of the complex and shopping interiors were designed by the English bureau STUFF International Design ltd. The building and the land plot have been completely reequipped during reconstruction and have been provided with convenient transport driveways and spacious car parking for 1’000 parking spaces. Layout of the shopping complex internal space, which includes wide malls, two groups of escalators, travelator and panoramic elevator, provides for well-thought-out logistics of the project.

Lyudmila Reva, the Director of Business Development at ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, reports that ASTERA has been working on attraction of tenants to the ‘Fiesta’ complex since 2008. During this period lease agreements with a number of federal retail chains have been signed: L’etoile, TsentrObuv, Gloria Jeans, O’Stin, ‘Champion’ etc.
