At the beginning of August the fast food chain “Russo Burger” is opening its first restaurant in Saint Petersburg in the retail complex “Vladimirsky Passazh”. The consultant of the deal is ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
According to Anatoliy Delikamov, director of “Russo Burger”, Saint Petersburg was chosen for the steppingstone thanks to its high potential for growth in the sphere of catering, the population income level, dynamic extension of travel industry and strong concentration of students here.
“Russo Burger” is a new brand aimed at providing its visitors an opportunity to try the peculiarities of various cuisines including Russian in the form of fast food and to make the gastronomic journey not leaving Saint Petersburg. We are going to open five more cafes in Saint Petersburg within a year and than we’ll keep on developing the chain at a regional level”, Anatoliy Delikamov adds.
The restaurant chain is to grow both in the format of food courts in retail centres and in street-retail format designed for 30 seats. The first restaurant will occupy about 70 sq.m at the food court of “Vladimirsky Passazh” and will be designed for about 700 visitors per shift. Investment in opening the chain will make 5,5-6 mln.rubles, the average bill – 260 rubles.
“Thanks to the comparatively inconsiderable investment volume and high level of profitability food courts in well-known retail centres of high publicity present some of the most attractive and perspective ways of development for catering operators”, emphasizes Svetlana Chernysheva, head of the project brokerage department of ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
