A new industrial complex will appear in “Utkina Zavod” with the help of ASTERA

CJSC “Marine engineering company AQUA-SERVICE” has bought a land plot with an area of 12 000 sq.m in a development project “Utkina Zavod’”. It is planned to use the territory for the construction of an industrial complex. ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as a consultant.

The realization of the project includes construction of administrative and industrial premises and of open industrial venue with a total area of 1500 sq.m as well as providing utility lines and transport junctions to the land plot. CJSC “Marine engineering company AQUA-SERVICE” has been renting spaces of Naval plant “Almaz” on Vasilievsky Island for almost 20 years, since the moment of its foundation. Since 1993 the company has realized more than 30 projects of training facilities for ship, boat and submarine crew training for emergency response. Now these complexes are used both in Russia and abroad.

Transport accessibility and proximity to the city are among advantages that offers “Utkina Zavod”. Moreover, we consider an advantage that there were no developer projects on the land plot. We are planning to organize here the production of simulators of preparing sailors to act in emergency conditions on the bases of sea shipping containers, simulators of diving training by means of pre-engineered metal buildings, and also modular manufacturing units. Approximate construction completion date is 2014”, Vyacheslav Gorkov, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of MIK “AQUA-SERVICE”.

The decision of the necessity of area broadening was made for the purpose of realization of the production plan related to the participation of the company “AQUA-SERVICE” in development of new projects on making technical facilities as a part of the ecological program.
