Two new TEXET chain outlets will be put into operation till the end of September. ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, acts as an exclusive broker of the retail chain.CJSC "Alcotel" electronic systems" is developing its own chain of mobile phones and portable electronics retail outlets under the brand "TEXET". At the end of June a new retail outlet was opened near "Novocherkasskaya" metro station; in September two more retail outlets will be opened near "Grazhdansky Prospect" metro station and in Retail and Entertainment Center LETO on Pulkovskoye highway. Before there was only one monobrand TEXET shop on Marshala Govorova str. TEXET is represented in retail chains M.Video, Eldorado, Tekhosila, Evroset, Ulmart, etc. The company expects to increase the brand awareness and to present a wide range of products with an effective layout due to development of its own retail chain.
"While choosing the premises for chain outlets we mostly focus on liquid premises with a high intensity of pedestrian flows", - says Igor Sobolev, Head of Retail Department of TEXET retail chain. "Among such objects are built-in premises near metro stations or premises in quality shopping centers".
The company is planning to come to markets of Moscow and Kazakhstan, in 2013 it is planned to open retail outlets in “million” cities of Russia, in the Baltic States and the CIS.
"Mobile phone outlets remain one of the most active tenants of retail premises. Still, their activity during the year is unbalanced and depends on the schedule of opening new chain outlets", - says Ludmila Reva, director of ASTERA, an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, - "In this segment operators are ready to pay high rental rates up to 15 000 RUR per sq.m and are in search of small spaces in liquid premises, in built-in premises, in shopping centers and pavilions".
