20 august 2014ASTERA finds new premises for IDance Studio
IDance Studio moved to RC ‘Shuvalovskie vysoty’ (‘Shuvalov Heights’) at 17, Vyborgskoe highway. ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as a consultant in the transaction by renting premises with the area of 505 sq.m in a stand-alone buiding.
Since January, 2013 the dance studio has been located in BC ‘Ecopolis’. ‘We occupied a facility with smaller area (about 163 sq.m). The relocation will allow us to make convenient class schedule and to increase the number of our dance groups. Today, demand for dance lessons is growing in St. Petersburg, and we decided to increase our studio’s area. Yet, it will not affect any of our customers, because the school will remain in the same location and at the same distance from the metro station. We may be said to have moved to the other side of the intersection and this benefits everyone’, - says Alexander Rebrov, director of IDance Studio.
The studio offers a wide range of dance classes for children and adults from Latino to European dance styles, salsa, bachata, and even provides such service as staging a wedding first dance. Learning process is organized in small groups or individually.
‘When I achieved a great success in my personal dance career which is not finished yet, I had an idea to open my own dance studio in order to prepare young dancers to participate in Ballroom Dancesport competitions. Our advanced students have already become simefinalists of Open Championships in Russia and Germany and finalists of European Open Junior Championship. The youngest students of IDance Studio also start to participate in Ballroom Dance Contests and win medal places. We hope that in future many of them will be honored with the title of Master of Sport and become the winners of European and World Championships, and maybe even champions of the Olympic Games’, - notes Alexander Rebrov.
The opening of IDance Studio will take place in September at 17, Vyborgskoe Highway. At the moment repair works are in progress in a new facility.
‘Next year when the operation of the first studio gets on the right track, and if the economic situation in Russia does not get worse, we are planning to open another dance studio under IDance brand. This time we will probably choose the center of St. Petersburg to allocate the school. When choosing location, our criteria will remain the same: closeness to metro station, public transport accessibility, wide and clear facility. Our students should feel comfortable and happy spending their free time here’, - adds Alexander Rebrov.
Olga Atkachis, head of Retail Department at ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate, adds: ‘Vyborgskoe highway is located in the center of large and busy residential district. This part of St. Petersburg has being actively developed over recent years. More than ten new large residential complexes are being constructed or have already been built here. Yet, the infrastructure, especially entertainment sector, does not develop in such a fast pace. The number of potential customers is twice higher and they cannot be all fitted by district fitness-centers, dance studios and other sport classes. Learning activities and games for children are especially popular. Thus, IDance studio has favorable location due to high potential demand in this district and good rental rates (from 600 to 1000 RUR per sq.m)’.
