City Grill Express restaurant is to be opened on 4, Rubinshteina Street

The third restaurant of a popular fast food project ‘City Grill Express’ will be opened in Saint Petersburg in May. ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as a broker of the transaction and assisted in leasing premises with total area of 140 sq.m. on 4, Rubinshteina Street. The next goal of the chain development is to enter Moscow market.

Evgeniy Arkhipov, an establisher of City Grill Express Company, is one of the founders of fast food chain in Saint Petersburg. He started his first project in 1994 the idea of which was to use several street trucks brought from New-York for selling hot-dogs and hamburgers on Nevsky Prospect. In time, many years’ experience and deep knowledge of the segment allowed developing a concept of quality project of restaurant chain with the atmosphere of America of the 1920s. The first restaurant of the chain was opened in 2010 on 20, Griboyedov Canal Embankment, and the second one started operating two years later on 1, Vosstaniya Street.

“Despite the fact that we work in a fast food segment, our restaurants are not meant for mass-market customer. Their advantage is unique taste, quality assortment and remarkable atmosphere. However, City Grill Express is a project aimed at further territorial development. Along with standard requirements the key factors for finding premises are architecture and history of the building, which will allow creating an atmosphere typical for all restaurants of the chain and adored by our regular clients. We do not exclude that the brand will enter the Moscow market in 2014”, - said Evgeniy Arkhipov.

There are 100 seats in City Grill Express on 4, Rubinshteina. The area of the facility allowed increasing its capacity by 30% compared to other retail outlets of the chain. Investments for opening will total up to 5 million rubles. About 200 visitors will be expected every day in a new restaurant. The average check will be 400 rubles.

“Rubinshteina Street is a historically developed restaurant retail corridor. City Grill Express will successfully complement offered range of goods of different concepts and kitchens here. In general, the location is characterized by a high level of attendance and is popular among young people.
