New production on the territory of ZVEZDA factory

SSI Shaefer Company rented out industrial warehouse facility with the area of 1700 sq.m located on the territory of Zvezda factory to Atika Company. There is furniture production organized on the site. ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as a consultant of this transaction.

In 2013 LLC ‘SSI Shaefer’ took long-term sublease of industrial production department on the territory of Zvezda factory (Babushkina str., 123). However, today this site is not in great demand, and we decided to sublease it. Due to favorable location and broker’s high professionalism, the transaction was concluded within two weeks’, - noted Georgy Bekuzarov, general director of LLC ‘SSI Shaefer’.

According to Alexander Teryaev, general director of LLC ‘Atika’, relocation of the company to the territory of Zvezda factory will allow increasing its production by 30-40% by the end of the year. ‘Thus, in the following 2-3 years new site will give us the possibility to double our production. Moreover, allocation in the south of the city is strategically important for us due to the fact that one third of our goods are sold in Moscow’, - noted the businessman.

ATIKA Furniture Company specializes in the production of exclusive collections of unit furniture for children, teenagers, and young people. Company’s assortment includes furniture for living rooms, bedrooms, home studies, and offices. The company sales their goods in 6 largest retail centers of St. Petersburg and three shopping centers of Moscow.

‘Considering the deficit of quality industrial sites on the territory of St. Petersburg, Zvezda factory became an optimal alternative for Atika Company which combines client’s starting location, level of readiness of premises, and also agreeable rental rate.
