Takko Fashion will open a new store in SC “Smile” with the participation of ASTERA

German clothing retailer, Takko Fashion, continues its expansion into Russian market. Store Chain is opening its eighth shop at the beginning of February in Shopping Center “Smile” on prospekt Bolshevikov, 27, in Saint Petersburg. ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate acted as a broker to rent premises for it with total area of 800 sq. m.

As of today there are 27 Takko Fashion retail outlets opened in Russia. Seven of them operate on the territory of Saint Petersburg. The average price in the store estimates at 900 rubles.

Russian market of clothing retailer expands at a fast rate. The segment is continuously supplemented not only with new domestic brands but also with famous western ones. However, according to Takko Fashion experts, the market is still too far from saturation, and it will take Russia not less than 3 to 5 years to reach the level of Western Europe in concentration of clothing retailer.

In 2014 the operator is planning to strengthen its positions in Saint Petersburg. “We evaluate Petersburg market as a very perspective one for development of our brand and we think that residents of Northern Capital especially value the quality at reasonable prices. To this extent, Takko Fashion offers the best ratio”, - noted Veronika Goryachaya, Marketing Director of Takko Fashion store chain.

SC “Smile” is a modern community shopping complex, located in heavily populated residential area with continuing site development and progressive growth of target audience. Anchor tenants of the complex are “O’Key” hypermarket, “Children” shop (“Deti”), and also operators attracted by ASTERA brokers, such as Obuv.com and Takko Fashion. All of them are able to generate necessary flow of visitors for successful development of the object”, - said Svetlana Chernyshova, Head of Brokerage Department at ASTERA an alliance member of BNP Paribas Real Estate.
